Product Overview
Hex Bolts are externally threaded fasteners with a six-sided head designed for tightening with a wrench or spanner. They are used for detachable bolted connections in fabrication, construction, machinery and industrial applications.

Standards & Specifications
Hex Bolts can be supplied against the applicable product, dimensional and material specifications stated in the purchase order, drawing or project specification. The website will keep these roles separate rather than treating every standard as a generic “bolt standard”.

Current, Previous & Project-Specified Editions
BCUBE will distinguish the current edition from previous/historical editions. This is important because a project may continue to procure against an older edition specified in its approved drawings, specifications or purchase documents. For example, ASTM's A307 record lists A307-21 as active while also retaining earlier versions such as A307-14, A307-12, A307-10 and older editions in its version history. ISO's record for ISO 4014 identifies ISO 4014:2022 as the current published edition and ISO 4014:2011 as previously withdrawn.
Procurement rule: the applicable edition should be confirmed against the client's project specification, drawing or purchase order. A newer edition should not be silently substituted where the project explicitly requires an older edition.
Dimensions & Threads
Product pages will provide the relevant nominal size, length, head dimensions, thread configuration and applicable dimensional requirements. Metric and inch-series requirements will be handled according to the relevant specification.
